Who runs this site

border.365daypress.com is an independent informational website operated by 365daypress (365daypress.com). It is not a government website and is not affiliated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Mexican authorities or any bridge operator.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address or other contact details through this site.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not access your device's GPS or precise location. The map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org), which, like any web server, receives your IP address when your browser requests them. Google services described below may estimate an approximate location from your IP address.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Visitors in some regions, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, may see fewer or non-personalized ads unless they give consent through Google's consent tools where those tools are shown.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and which outbound links are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as your IP address, which Google uses to estimate approximate location.

We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors. Event-level analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (currently 2 months), after which only aggregated reports remain. You can prevent Google Analytics from receiving your data with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Embedded live cameras

Some crossing pages include live camera streams from official bridge operators, shown through the embed the operator uses on its own camera page: a YouTube player, sometimes reached through a CamStreamer embed address. Nothing from YouTube or CamStreamer is loaded until you tap a camera.

When you tap a camera, your browser connects to YouTube (Google) and, where used, CamStreamer (camstreamer.com), which may set cookies and receive information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not record, store or edit any video.

Some pages show still images from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) public camera feed. These images load directly from the Caltrans server, which receives your IP address like any web server; no cookies are set by our site for them.

Affiliate links

Some links, such as Mexico car insurance quotes, are affiliate links. If you request a quote through them, the partner may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. The partner may use cookies to attribute your visit. Information you enter on the partner's site is governed by the partner's privacy policy.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and use the opt-out links above. The live wait times work without cookies, although some ads may become less relevant.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the site's features change; the date at the top shows the latest version. For questions about this policy, contact the operator through 365daypress.com.

We do not keep a database of visitors, so in most cases we hold no personal information about you. To ask about access, correction or deletion of data, contact us through 365daypress.com; for data held by Google, CamStreamer, Caltrans, Cloudflare or our affiliate partners, we will point you to their own request tools.
